Shih Tzu Grooming Styles

 Haircuts for Shih Tzu are pretty easy to give.

Start by shaving the body leaving the legs, ears, and face.

The legs cut down using a scissors or a clippers with a long attachment.  Removing mats as you go.  Some people clip the body and legs to the same length, but I like to leave the legs a little longer in length.

Next I trim the ears and round the head.  Trim the hair between the eyes, and shape the moustache.

I encourage you to trim your own Shih Tzu.  You will make mistakes at the beginning like I did, but eventually you will be able to give your dog a nice looking hair cut at a cheap price.
